Allow me to introduce to you miss Katelynn.

Katelynn is one of my senior reps this year representing the 2018 graduating class from Angleton High School.

Katelynn is a member of the varsity girls soccer team for Angleton High School. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and T.A.F.E (Texas Association of Future Educators). 

When not in school Katelynn is either out playing soccer with friends, playing pool, watching baseball, taking pictures, grabbing some Whataburger, going on mission trips, or volunteering her time as a camp counselor at Camp His Way. 

For me, Katelynn was a blast to work with. She has a wonderful sense of humor, a gorgeous smile, and an eagerness to jump right in front of my camera.

One of the questions that I ask all of my seniors is "How do you see yourself making the world a better place than you found it?" In a world like we live today Katelyn's words need to be shared. She says, "Always live like you're a role model. I have learned that even when it feels like no one is watching, someone is. Especially with my role at the camp. We have 150 kids come in every week who just want to be like us. They just want to sit by you at lunch and feel so special when you remember their names. Always make sure to do what is right because it might seem like you're not making a change or doing something different but you could influence someones life by the things you do and you would never know."

Upon graduating high school Katelynn's dreams will still echo those words. She hopes to attend Houston Baptist University where she will major in elementary education. Her words "One day I hope to be a teacher and be able to be a light to all of the kids in my classroom just as my teachers were for me." Kuddos to all of y'all who have had a hand in shaping Katelynn into the kind hearted young woman she is today.
