Let's all say hello to the stunning miss Katelyn!

Katelyn is a member of the 2018 graduating class at Needville High School.

At school she is an active member of FFA where she participates in the CDE (Career Development Event) in the spring for horse judging and vet tech where she tied for 3rd place in the Tarleton horse judging, along with her and the rest of the horse judging team took 5th place in state and 1st place in area this past year. She also participates in the LDE (Leadership Development Events) in the fall, last year she competed in radio broadcasting. Aside from school activities Katelyn is also an active member of the JRC (Junior Rodeo Committee) with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Along with her horses Sloan and Bammer, Katelyn enjoys barrel racing where she has placed many times. When she is not at school or out at a rodeo, Katelyn can be found spending most of her free time with her family or her horses, Flash, Sloan, and Bammer.

I enjoyed my time with Katelyn. She is a super relaxed kinda gal with a radiant smile and hello how could you not notice all that beautiful red hair!

A girl with big plans, Katelyn hopes to get a job upon graduation with a vet clinic where she can learn the administrative side of the business. She plans to attend either Texas A&M Commerce or Oklahoma State University. Upon graduation from college she would like to be an equine surgeon and sports medicine veterinarian. After dealing with one of her own horses being injured recently she hopes to be able to help others who suffer injury to get back to their full potential and get back into their sport.
